The Process

Most of our designs avoid contact metals, making the wear experience better for sensitive skin.

Our trusted manufacturing partners in Hong Kong bring these drawings to life through precision and discipline, ensuring excellence in every hinge, lens, and contour. Every frame undergoes careful inspection to meet our uncompromising standards of quality and comfort.

Once production arrives in California, each frame is hand-packaged by our team: checked, cleaned, and placed within its velvet case with quiet care.
Only then does it begin its final journey, delivered to our customers as a complete expression of craft and character.

We work with highly experienced manufacturing partners in Hong Kong who specialize in acetate eyewear.

We select factories based on craft quality, consistent QA, and their willingness to meet our ethical and environmental expectations.

Legal compliance with local law and industry standards, deferring to whichever affords workers greater protection.

Safe, healthy workplaces with appropriate PPE, training, and incident reporting.

No forced, bonded, or child labor; protections for young workers.

Fair treatment & working hours; respect for freedom of association where permitted by law.

Transparent subcontracting and traceability for core processes (cutting, polishing, assembly).

Environmental management: waste handling, chemical safety, and efforts to reduce water/energy use.
